**Mission**:

- Lead and develop a team of Project Managers and IT Business Analysts, and manage outsourced development services for Industrial Operations across Almirall (Germany / Spain manufacturing and chemical plants)
- This role will support the business partner on understanding the business direction, alignment of strategy, scope of key IT programs, and drives expected results aligned with business processes and solution standards.
- Execute strategic IT programs and deliver technical solutions that substantially advance the capabilities and performance of the Industrial organization and QA, using the own Service Delivery team, or by coordinating resources from the associated IT Department and external partners.
- Contribute to business processes integration maximizing the use of existing and new technology to address specific business needs within the Industrial 4.0 ecosystem with close alignment with enterprise architects, technical architects, and development teams.
- Contribute in maximizing industrial data analytics capabilities

**Tasks and Responsibilities**:
**Facilitate Change via technology**:

- Serve as point of contact with IT Business Partner of the respective business area.
- Research and respond to requests received from the IT Business Partner. Translate business needs into effective and/or improved processes and/or technical solutions.
- Ensure the department holds a good understanding of the Business processes and the technical solutions that support the respective business area.
- Bring awareness of new technology and products to the IT BP, support business reengineering as needed.

**Direct the planning phase of IT projects and manage the IT portfolio for the respective business area**:

- Manage team capacity to ensure that business objectives are met, resources are properly used, and risks are managed.
- Initiate or act as initial contact point to the IT BP for project proposals; evaluate feasibility of potential projects in coordination with the associated IT Department.
- Support the IT Business Partner by providing the operational details of the Project Charters
- Analyze IT requirements for input to the budgeting process.
- Assist in compiling, justifying, and getting approval for project proposals.
- Ensure all requests are documented, screened and schedules according to designated priorities.
- Ensure effective project mandate is developed.
- Full responsibility to manage the operational expense budget to support the delivery services.

**Oversee project execution and day-to-day operations that run 24/7.**
- Ensure resources, either internal from associated IT Department or external are secured to meet business demands.
- Ensure solutions are delivered according to approved budget and target dates.
- Ensure high level of quality in solutions is delivered.

**Facilitate Operational IT service by collaborating with other IT and OT customer service providers**:

- Ensure IT Service providers meet the service levels and the customer expectations related to Business Applications and processes functionality and performance.
- Provide transparency in services delivered to customers.
- Contribute to vendor management.

**People Management**:

- Monitor team performance and report on metrics.
- Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture. Motivate team members.
- Recognize high performance and reward accomplishments.

**Education**:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, industrial engineering, business administration or closely related discipline

**Specific Knowledge**:

- Deep Pharma knowledge is a plus.
- Technology knowledge to support Industrial business processes.
- Agile delivery practices
- Acknowledgment of Project Management methodologies
- Extensive knowledge and ability to drive IT strategy and architectural standards.

**Experience**:

- Experience leading teams
- Experience in delivery of projects for Industry 4.0, Serialization, IoT, automation, MES, Historians, Data Hub, or similar
- Knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes and integrated systems (ERP, MES / MOM, Data Lake, etc.)
- Market vision for solutions and trends within the pharma or chemical sector (Industry 4.0, Industrial Security, OT-IT convergence, Edge, Cloud, Low code, etc.).
- Broad understanding of the pharma or chemical industry including GxP compliance.
- Experience in cross-functional teams influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders effectively across the organization and within complex contexts.
- Sales/account manager with IT services or technology product companies, or vendor manager, or procurement manager
