**Commissions and Payments Analyst**

**Summary**:
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Trade AR Cash Application**
- Post customer payments by recording electronic and check transactions.
- Updates receivables by totaling unpaid invoices.
- Processing Customer payment Refunds
- Working capital improvement - ensure account balances sanity by reviewing cash and credit balances and ensuring relevant reconciliation and escalations are completed to reduce these balances.
- Summarizes receivables by maintaining invoice accounts, coordinating monthly transfer to accounts receivable account, verifying totals, and preparing reports.
- Report Daily cash collection to management
- Ensure daily recons are performed for payment received in the bank versus the cash applied in WD. Ensure system and GLs are aligned.
- Full compliance to all policies and adherence to proper controls.
- Ensure data integrity of all financial information within the financial statements and reports including identification of variances.
- Ensuring the Service levels are met, documented and maintained on productivity and quality.
- Actively participates in implementation of new systems and process improvement projects.

**Commission Statement Processing**:

- Download Commissions Statements from Carrier site
- Prepare pivots and client coding
- Match to Cash to Statements
- Reverse commissions deposits so they are available to split
- Prepare Carrier split tool for review and upload into WD
- Track statements received by Carrier and request missing statements
- Review statements and identify and report clawbacks or aberrations

**Collections Activities**:

- Responsible for service delivery of VIP customer ledgers and internal stakeholders
- Maximize cash collections, active credit risk control, minimize aged debt and bad debt provisions, excellent customer service, minimize efficiency waste

**Education and/or Experience**:

- Graduate or Master’s degree in any stream, Finance preferred.
- 2 years of hands-on Accounting experience in Accounts Receivable and/or Order to Cash).

**Skills**:

- Proficiency with Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, Outlook & Power Point
- Working knowledge of financial reporting
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
