- PROFILE FOR STARTUP PROJECT MANAGER

The Project Manager will be responsible for the management and technical development of metallic anti-corrosion coatings.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct research to improve technological assets.
- Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals
- Maintain quality and ensure all products meet company standards.
- Manage R&D and Engineering budgets to ensure no unnecessary expenditures.
- Communicate and present technological issues to CEO, board of directors, and/or C-Level staff.
- Identify technological trends and implement changes to existing technology.
- Lead all aspects of the company’s technological development.

Requirements and Expertise:

- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering or similar kind. Area of Expertise: Physical Chemistry, Electrochemistry and Corrosion Engineering. PhD and or previous experience in corrosion of metals will be positive valued.
- Experience with project and programme management.
- Previous experience with process flow diagrams (P&ID’s) and component design / selection (piping, pumps, valves,) will be highly valued.
- Be competent with experimental techniques such as cyclic voltammetry, linear sweep voltammetry, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, rotating ring-disk electrode, quartz crystal microbalance and the like.
- Knowledge about electrodeposition, oxygen reduction reaction, liquid crystals, sputter deposition, XRD, XPS, TEM, EDX, BET, computer simulation and OriginLab.
- Perfect knowledge of the English language (C1)
