**Compliance Audit Associate (f/m/d)**-231450

**About the Role**:We are looking for a Compliance Audit Associate to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Compliance team and the Business to conduct audit procedures for Channel Partner audits and related Compliance audits.

This position will be located at our facility in Barcelona (Spain) or Verona (Italy), with work from home days possible as part of a hybrid arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.*

**Responsibilities**:

- Support analysis and documentation of audit scopes and objectives, audit procedures, etc., and consulting with Compliance
- Test of controls and substantive transaction testing for identified audit scopes to ensure identified risk areas are appropriately covered, using good judgment to evaluate transactions where defined policies, procedures, and controls may not yet exist
- Communicate regularly with audit clients and stakeholders to ensure an inclusive audit process from start to finish
- Ensure that all work papers are completed and reviewed prior to the issuance of the final audit report and preparing written reports such as audit findings, status reports, etc.
- Train external audit/language resources, when needed, to support audits
- Support efforts to obtain agreement with process owners and leadership regarding risk assessments and audit observations to ensure that all differences are appropriately resolved or reported in an inclusive manner
- Communicate audit results, both verbally and in writing, so they are persuasive, placed in the appropriate context, and understood by the appropriate audience
- Finalize and archiving engagement work papers and all other supporting documentation upon the distribution of the final audit report to leadership
- Perform appropriate follow-up procedures on all outstanding audit issues related to engagement assignments; monitoring remediation efforts to ensure reported audit issues are addressed by leadership in a timely manner
- Sustain the Compliance Audit function to include any continuous improvement

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree in accounting, finance or related business field
- Minimum of 3 years internal or external auditing or compliance monitoring experience
- Highly motivated, self-starter
- Knowledge and expertise with COSO, internal controls, internal or external auditing standards, third party auditing, and risk-based auditing
- Ability to manage projects, communicate effectively, and collaborate across functions and regions
- Organized and detail oriented, with a high degree of ethics, integrity, and professionalism
- Written and verbal fluency in Italian, Spanish and English is required
- Ability to travel up to 15%
- Remote Working Arrangements are permitted for Associates, with appropriate approval and compliance with Gore’s remote working policies, from the country in which they are employed.
