As a Procurement Analyst, within the Global Procurement & Strategy area, you will support Category Managers in the analysis and execution of projects under different categories in order to get best possible price and service terms for the client.

We are looking for a PROFESSIONAL with a great desire to LEARN, who will be part of a TEAM with a high level of specialization in key categories.

WE ARE AQUANIMA SANTANDER GROUP

**THESE WILL BE SOME OF YOUR DAILY TASKS**
- Support the Category Managers in the definition and execution of strategies for the different categories.
- Conduct market and spend analysis for the category, monitoring latest trends to add value optimise costs (supported by Global Team).
- Coordinate and deliver multiple tenders and negotiations for the category, drafting and issuing RFX documentation, completing offer analysis, negotiating contractual and commercial terms and preparing recommendations for the client. Supporting and guiding the client with the review and definition of RFP specifications, recommending best commercial approach to deliver best value and savings.
- Support and advise the client in supplier selection criteria, ensuring transparency of procurement process at all times.
- Managing a variety of internal stakeholders (Client & Aquanima) as well as external (suppliers).
- Document results and report status and progress of negotiations to Category Manager, Client Manager and OPS Director as required. Prepare executive packs for presentation to senior stakeholders.
- Complete legal contracts using predefined templates with the support of Contracts Team. Negotiate commercial terms in contracts and liaise with Contracts team to offer guidance and support in relation to the negotiation as necessary.
- Ensure compliance of own projects with defined Aquanima and Client’s policies, processes and procedures.
- Identify and anticipate issues in the execution of the negotiations, propose and implement solutions, escalate to Category and Client Manager as required.
- Report all negotiations in the defined ERP / P2P systems for the Client, ensuring data quality at all times.
- Responsible for high service quality of own negotiations delivered.
- Participate in internal company continuous improvement projects and initiatives, including internal training initiatives and supplier forums.
- Support the development of commercial proposals for new Clients as required.
- Understand the importance of effective risks controls and key risks, follow risk mitigation procedures established, and escalate unresolved risks.

**EXPERIENCE**
- At least 5 years of experience working in a similar position in purchasing/consulting

**EDUCATION**
- University degree in Engineering, ADE-Business or Economics.

**SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE**
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite and procurement systems such as SAP, Ariba, Jaegger.
