Due to our upcoming opening of Gran Hotel Taoro, 5* luxury hotel in Puerto de la Cruz (Tenerife), and as part of the ongoing expansion of the hotel portfolio at Abama Resort, we are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic candiate to take on the Senior Group & Wedding Coordinator position within our cluster sales structure.
**Core work responsabilities**:
- Responsible for receiving and responding appropriately to all incoming leads from groups, weddings or special events.
- Quote all leads (both MICE and Weddings) with the support and close collaboration of the Revenue Director and Sales Manager MICE.
- Block all information in the appropiate systems.
- Supporting the Sales Manager MICE in production reports.
- Organise site visits and fam trips, communicate internally, and participate as needed.
- Hand-over of all confirmed groups to the operation.
- For weddings and special events, he/she will be point of contact during the entire event.
- Develop relationships with Wedding Planners.
- Support in prospecting of new accounts in both the MICE and Wedding segments.
- Keeping databases up to date
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 1 year experience as a groups/wedding coordinator in 4/5* hotels.
- Advanced Spanish and English level (C1), other languages will be valued.
- Positive attitude, proactivity, collaboration and teamwork.
- Familiar in usage of computer systems.
- Communicate clearly and effectively.
- Organised in admin tasks.

- Abama Resort Tenerife es un exclusivo resort de lujo en Tenerife de 160 hectáreas con una oferta gastronómica de primer nível y servicio 5 estrellas.
- ** Responsabilidades**:
- Responsable de la recepción y adecuada respuesta a todos los leads de grupos, bodas o eventos especiales que se reciban, dentro de los tiempos establecidos.
- Cotizar todos los leads (tanto de MICE como Bodas) con el apoyo y estrecha colaboración del Director de Revenue y Sales Manager MICE.
- Bloquear los espacios y habitaciones en el sistema de event management, mantenimiento del sistema y otras plataformas informáticas relacionadas con este segmento.
- Apoyar al Sales Manager MICE en reportes de producción y PACE.
- Preparar las visitas de inspección y fam trips, comunicar internamente, y apoyar presencialmente en las mismas así como en otros eventos relacionados con el segmento MICE / Bodas / Eventos Especiales.
- Hand-over de grupos MICE confirmados a la operativa.
- En las bodas y eventos especiales, será el punto de contacto desde la primera toma de contacto hasta la finalización del evento/s.
- Punto de contacto en el hotel para los Wedding Planners.
- Labor de prospección de nuevas cuentas tanto en el segmento MICE como Bodas.
- Mantener las bases de datos actualizadas
**Competencias y perfil del puesto**:
- Experiência mínima de 1 año de experiência como coodinador/a de grupos en hoteles 4/5*.
- Inglés nível avanzado (C1), se valorarán otros idiomas.
- Valoramos la actitud, la proactividad, la colaboración y el trabajo en equipo.
