**The Job**:
Looking for an engaging and dynamic role? In our Technical Support position, you will not be bored. Be prepared to encounter captivating inquiries from researchers that will challenge your scientific knowledge. This job also entails regular collaboration with various departments and colleagues to effectively resolve inquiries, allowing you to showcase your creativity and adaptability by finding rapid and efficient solutions.
Continuous learning is important in this role, as you'll be expected to share your expertise and experiences with your peers, while staying updated on the latest products, solutions, and processes. If you thrive on working with technical information and enjoy interacting with people, this position is tailor-made for you.

Technical Application Scientists are sharing the expertise and technological advancements with researchers, helping them in making the world a better place, whether they’re discovering a cure for cancer, protecting the environment or making sure our food is safe.
The job is all about the customer and providing help and guidance. A satisfied customer with positive feedback for the support you have provided is worth more than anything else and is ultimately a validation for the quality of your work. You will be supporting Thermo Fisher Scientific products to both internal and external customers.
**What will you do**:
- Accurately record pertinent information from customer contacts in Customer Relationship Management system
- Recommend and implement improvements in processes, FAQ and technical information
- Participate in additional special team or individual projects
**Education and competencies required**:
- A BSc. or MSc. degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or a similar field
- 1 year laboratory experience
- Effective communication, both written and oral
- Customer centricity
- Proficient in English. Proficiency in another language (French, German, Italian or Spanish) will be a strong advantage.
