**Description**:
**Agile Program Lead Digital BSS**
- Function: Technology
- Band: G Band
- Location: UK/Italy/Rome/Remote

**Role purpose**:

- Vodafone’s IT landscape is facing several Lifecycle and Resilience challenges (e.g. end-of-life, end-of-support dependencies across infrastructure, operating systems and database versions) which put significant risks on a stable IT operation and negatively impact Time-To-Market. Some of these challenges are addressed via Transformation Programs (e.g. Next, Solstice, Equinox), however, these transformations are long-lasting programs, will not replace the entire existing IT Landscape and migration windows require dual run with Legacy.
- Digital & IT’s Modernization Garage is addressing both issues, leveraging best practices between ongoing Transformation Programs and at the same time setting a strong focus on Modernisation of existing IT systems. The latter also referred to as Legacy Modernisation is a multi-party and multi-OpCo ambition with high expectations when it comes to increasing the sustainability and also the value of our IT assets (Applications/Systems), increasing efficiency of Operations and ensuring Business Continuity.
- This role is about implementing Digital BSS Product to various markets to help accelerate Digital Transformation and modernization. Implementation will be based on reusable components and also enabling new ideas from markets to reach out to R&D of Digital BSS GCU. The role will directly work with Product Owners and Architects within Digital BSS and Agile PMOs in markets. Implementation also includes Market Place integration to local market BSS Stack if that is the case for a specific market.

**Job Responsibility**:
**Key Accountabilities**
- Build a holistic view and product roadmap for continuous delivery plans within Digital BSS
- Accountable for performing value-driven prioritization by ensuring required portfolio budget/guardrails as well as capacity
- Track the status of the delivery plans with the related POs closely and report at the portfolio level
- Plan the project with Technical POs and PMs, build a plan based on prioritization and dependencies
- Assist squads in defining epics, user stories in order to identify MVP and sustain continuous delivery

Core competencies, knowledge, and experience [max 5]:

- Monitoring budget with planned vs actual figures
- Maintenance of risks and issues and escalation of these as required through agreed governance structures
- Get alignment with Commercial & Technical POs and architects for portfolio management issues
- Ensure synchronization of sprint plans throughout the project execution
- Manage external dependencies, sourcing relationships and risks -by acting as an escalation point for planning issues

**Must have technical/professional qualifications**:

- BA, BS, or equivalent experience is required; MA or MS is a plus.
- Solid understanding of SDLC models as well as expert knowledge in Agile principles and methodologies
- A proven track record of successfully implementing SW projects using Agile methodologies including 8+ years of experience by involving large, complex projects in a high-tech development environment with multi-function teams
- Sufficient level of technical background to provide highly-credible leadership to development teams and to be able to accurately and objectively evaluate complex project risks and issues
- Ability to provide leadership to Agile Team leads, business analysts and collaborate with POs and develop strategies and solutions of high business value
