Local Unit & Position Description:
We are looking for a **Sales Area Manager** to join our **Iberia (Spain and Portugal)** **unit** in a permanent role, based **in the** **North of the Country.**

Our unit is supported by skilled people, market-oriented and passionate about customer care as well as respect for ethical policies and accreditation rules. Risk-based thinking drive our business for decades and this background has allowed us to be the first certification body to be accredited by ENAC in ISO 9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001, new releases under the HLS structure. Position Qualifications:
**The main areas of responsibility are**:

- Ensure that the DNV strategy and policies are implemented at the local level and managed, limited to the pertinent area, and relative interfaces within the organization.
- Define and put in place, according to goals & targets, plans, and actions in order to meet targets regarding sales, revenue, retention, and quality of service. Be **able to achieve sound and challenging sales results** in the **certification market**, developing our services portfolio, especially in big customers.
- Develop local market and promote and improve relationships with Customers of assigned territory. Must** have a solid network of enablers** (consultants, associations, other channels) **for certification and training services** within accreditation rules.
- Support Sales Manager Iberia analyzing market trend information, related to selected territory, to recommend changes to practices and policies and improve market positioning.
- Ensure a continuous presence in the market of assigned unit.
- Cooperate with other colleagues, in a teamwork approach.
- You must **enjoy team work** and** be customer and market passionate**.
- Able to work in an structured and planned way, forecast sales results, get quick wins, develop medium and long term sales opportunities and relations.
- Be proactive identifying new sales opportunities within our strategic and ethical frame.
- Plan and perform the sales visits, quote preparation and generate leads in an structured way.

**To qualify, we need you to have**:

- Educated in business or scientific university degree level.
- Previous experience of minimum 3 years working in sales and customer management and a strong business sense.
- Knowledge of certification services is highly appreciated
- Native Spanish and Fluent English (both written and spoken). Euskera language would be a great addition.
- Dynamic, goal-oriented, proactive approach.
- High level of business acumen, including an understanding of the customer’s business drivers, industry, economic trends, issues, and competition.
- Availability to travel.
