As the first point of contact between IDEXX and our customers, our support professionals are vitally important.
In their roles, they develop deep and meaningful relationships with our customers, offering solutions to meet their unique needs. Every interaction with a customer allows us to demonstrate the power of diagnostics that helps veterinary practices - and the pets under their care - thrive.
In the role of Reference Laboratory Customer Support Specialist:
You will act as the liaison between customers and the IDEXX laboratories.
As a member of this team, you will answer customer questions as well as provide administration support.
You will work in close collaboration with our internal stakeholders in order to effectively escalate a wide variety of calls.
You will provide and clarify lab test results, coordinate follow-up tests on samples, and help coordinate the pickup and delivery of samples.
What You Will Need to Succeed
You will be a master problem solver with a fine attention to detail.
You are fluent in Spanish and business English.
You have the ability to be proactive by nature and actively reach out for follow up for any customer inquiry.
You have the ability to prioritize different tasks and you enjoy problem solving.
Superb communication and listening skills are a must in order to be a successful customer support specialist.
You are experienced in a technically related field, veterinary practice, laboratory setting, and/or contact center environment is helpful. Networking and/or software support is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills with ability to establish rapport quickly
Strong organizational skills, especially in a multi-tasking environment
You possess an associate’s or bachelor's degree in a computer related discipline or scientific discipline is preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to be on the phone for 8 hours a day.
