ROTOR, based in Madrid Spain, is a European company that designs, produces and sells high end bicycle components, specifically in the sportive section of the bicycle industry. The role of the OEM director is crucial for the success of the company. In this role you are leading a team of international agents and you are the main contact for the oem´s in a competitive worldwide environment. The role of the OEM director is not only obtaining sales but create a stable and continues growth for the factory as well. The sales in the OEM is also driving sales in the aftermarket and vice versa. It is therefore that you are in close contact with the head-office in Madrid. In this role you report directly to the Commercial Director at ROTOR.

As the director you also define the margins per client, this is done in cooperation with the agents but also in close contact with the factory. As the director you are also a valued team player within the company, this to make sure that the Company can deliver what the client is requesting. This means close cooperation with all departments within ROTOR such as, engineering, production, planning, logistics, marketing and customer service.

You will be able to take part in strategic decisions, leading the design and development of a new business area of the company and may be the person who in the future will lead the team that will support it.

**RESPONSABILITIES**

Your main responsibility is the:

- Responsible for all OEM clients/ relationships.
- Responsible for setting the budget within OEM sales.
- Responsible to deliver the agreed Gross Margin with OEM customers.
- Responsible for collecting the invoices with clients.
- Responsible for international operating Agents, they report directly to you.
- Co responsible for bringing the right products to the market at the right time.
- Responsible for defining and implementing the strategy that leads to continues growth within the industry and stability to operations.
- Responsible to find new markets and new opportunities that may arise due to changes in the market.

**REQUIREMENTS**

The oem market is at the forefront on trends in the market.
The relationships you will start, cherish and search for are an important part of the future strategy of the company.
- It is required that you have a proven track-record of min 5 years in sales and a valid understanding in cycling industry.
- Degree level qualification or relevant cycling background.
- As you are dealing remotely with various teams, it is required that you are a flexible team player and able to manage these teams and their expectations.
- Data analysis is an important part of the job, understand the data and see early signals that are hidden with the data.
- Making sure the company is aligned with your decisions and motivations to ensure a correct follow-up.
- As the oem director you need to create bridges between the oem clients and the mother company.
- Making sure the expectations meet with the deliverables.
- Be a leader not an assigned manager.
- A flair for working with people.
- Communication, presentation and persuasion skills.
- Passion for cycling trends and environment.
- French or Dutch native.
- High level of communication skills in English.
- Ability to communicate in Spanish is an asset.
- Resourceful IT user and tech savvy.
- Resident in the Benelux area.
- Availability to travel around Benelux.

**WHAT WE CAN DO FOR YOU**

Indefinite-term contract after probationary period.

Remuneration of € 60,000/year and an additional 90% in variable remuneration based on objectives.

On-site working day at our work center in Benelux from Monday to Thursday from 9:00 to 14:00 and from 15:00 to 18:30. Friday from 9:00 to 15:00. Flexible timetable in and out.

Due to the focus of ROTOR in the high-end and due to the capabilities we have internally Rotor has all options to be come a strong European long term partner for all OEMs.
