**Description**

As an **Oncology Account Executive,** you will present clinically focused messages to develop key relationships within hospitals and cancer treatment centers to bring novel therapies to patients, if approved. You will report directly to the respective Regional Business Director and work cross-functionally with our highly talented team.

**Responsibilities**:

- You will wake up every day excited, energized, and fearless to lead the effort in launching a first-in-class supportive care product, overcoming significant customer beliefs and operational hurdles to change the patient treatment paradigm.

- You will learn and gain patient and healthcare provider understanding of Radiation Therapy-Inducted Oral Mucositis ~ this knowledge will be essential in developing strategic external key customer/account relationships.
- You will believe in, embrace and exemplify the Galera “Total Account Call” philosophy utilizing your high EQ you engage with customers on a deeper level - asking the tough questions, actively listening, and challenging the customer's perspective leading to their understanding of the compelling case for solutions.
- You will be a Galerian, who genuinely seeks collaborations across all key functional partners and most especially the folks in Commercial Operations, Marketing, and Market Access to build on our thriving culture.

**Requirements**:

- You possess a BA/BS
- You have 5+ years experience and knowledge in oncology, rare and/or orphan drug disease states with clinical acumen and a deep understanding of how accounts (IDNs, hospitals, clinical and GPOs) operate as businesses relative to “buy and bill” reimbursement experience, co-pay, and coding, preferably in oncology and/or rare disease/orphan drug disease states.
- You have experience building to launch and preferably, launch success in oncology, rare and/or orphan drug products covered as a medical benefit (“Part B”).
- You have a passion to help Head and Neck Cancer patients and are 100% fully engaged in launching a first-in-class supportive care product, overcoming significant customer beliefs and operational hurdles to impact the standard of care in Radiation Therapy.
- You are an expert in your ability to strategically plan and operationally execute; zigging and zagging to problem-solving, critical thinking, learning agility, and responsiveness.
- You are proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Concur, and CRM tools.
- You are gritty intense, focused, entrepreneurial, engaged, hardworking, resilient, flexible, humble, and results-driven
