This role will be responsible for the implementation of an end-to-end price strategy, with the outcome of simplifying process' and driving more profitable sales. This role is a key enabler to driving change across the business, in terms of how we manage price, contracts and discounting.

**Pricing Strategy**

Key Responsibilities:

- Working with Trading Director, implement price, contracts & discounting strategy based on agreed timelines and metrics.
- Lead the pricing and contracts team across the day-to-day operations across MIPS and Customer Contracting
- Ensure robust governance in place for adherence to these strategies and resultant polices. Ensure approval process for exceptions is in place.
- Tender collation: approve all food service customer tenders in partnership with BDMs and trading team.
- Land the strategy for collation and use of market information & customer tender data to inform future pricing decisions.
- Support project work as required across the team e.g., gathering pricing and market pricing intelligence.
- Work with the sales and trading teams to ensure ongoing price competitiveness relative to policies and customer type.
- Conducting market research to understand consumer behaviour, market trends, and competitive pricing.
- Communicating pricing strategies and changes to internal stakeholders and external customers.
- Staying up to date with industry trends and innovations in pricing strategy

**Health & Safety**

Key Responsibilities:

- Know the risks of the position and the workplace. Through the basic PRL training provided by the company and through the information and documentation that we share in the employee portal area.
- Comply with work regulations: We have the regulations available in the area of the employee portal and its reading and acceptance is mandatory and is one of the first options to be made at the time of incorporation into the company. We must use the EPIS of the workplace and use the equipment and machinery with which we work correctly. Failure to comply with security regulations will be cause for disciplinary measures.
- Actively collaborate in prevention. In order for the preventive system to work correctly, the collaboration of each person is required to communicate incidents or any anomaly or need that is required so that the work can be carried out with full security guarantees.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience of working in a FMCG, wholesale or retail environment
- University qualification, ideally finance or business qualification.
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills: seamless ability to work between sales, finance, and trading.
- Excellent communication skills
- People management skills: able to develop and motivate direct reports.
- Customer centric
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong PC Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook)
- Strong analytical skills
- Understanding of market dynamics and consumer behavior

**Desirable Attributes**:
