ROLE SUMMARY

In this role, the colleague is responsible for external communications in the country. This includes active and reactive media relations, social media activities (if implementable), product communication (lay and professional media). The communication in the country takes place in coordination within the region as well as in the country

Key areas of focus include:
- Active and reactive media relations; media pitching- Support issues and crisis management- Develop and execute external engagement, corporate and brand plans including message house, narratives - deliver results according to the strategic plans- Definition and content creation for corporate digital channels (social media, country website(s)) - if applicable: ownership of corporate social media channels including CSPs- Coordinate agencies as support of corporate and/or product comms- Track local comms budget for brand and corporate plans- Definition and implementation of campaigns (social media, branded content and other platforms)- Content creation and further development of local Pfizer website and brand websites, if applicable- Administrative responsibilities like MAPP, GCMA approvals, CSP, contracts

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Help to lead the conversation of Pfizer in an external environment, especially media and social media.- Help to build and protect the company’s reputation.- Develop and execute plan for communications including reputation analysis, message house, tactics and measures, and expected outcomes. Create and deploy communications for corporate & brand specific initiatives to raise awareness.- Work on external engagement with journalists through creative ways- Develop local communications activities and create state-of-the-art comms approaches in conjunction with CA teams.- Built sustainable and valuable media relations to relevant media representatives.- Identify agency partners (if budget available) and establish high-qualitative cooperation with the agency.- Monitor media and share outcomes.- Work with local and global ext comm colleagues in issues and manage them properly on a local level.- Working and multi-tasking under pressure, respond quickly to changing situations in complex project environments, prepare responses/narrative quickly.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Graduate or Graduate equivalent- Communications background- Excellent writing skills- Strong project management skills- Strong knowledge and Media relations- Excellent organizational skills/ ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment- Fluency in Spanish & English Language

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- University degree preferred- Strong comms experience- Understanding of measurement and metrics; website strategy and social media- Strategic thinking capability- Knowledge of local healthcare system
