**Purpose of the function**:
The Cardiovascular communication and Social Media Manager will be part of the Cardiovascular marketing team and will be accountable for internal and external Communication & Social Media strategy and tactics for our cardiovasculat portfolio, providing counsel to DSE internal and external business partners. She/He will be the Spokesperson for the cardiovascular related media inquiries ( including medical trade, consumer media, advocacy groups, journalists and Social Media). She/He will report to the Cardiovascular Marketing Director.

**Main functions**:

- **Drive creation and execution of Annual Communication plan according to portfolio and Brand Strategy**
- Drive Social Media and communication strategy, tactics, standardized processes and ways of measurement (qualitative and quantitative) to drive success of Communication activities within Spain
- Act as an "internal communication expert" and consultant to the functional teams
- Deliver clear guidance aligned x-functionally to implement communication plan and strategy
- Manage the communication budget, related to Specialties Division.
- Ensures that regulatory constraints are respected in the implementation of actions in collaboration with the Regulatory Affairs Department
- **Establish and foster relationship with influencing media and journalists**
- Participates in building and maintaining the network of experts (journalist and Madia) to support product and pathlogy awarness communication.
- Organize and implement media activities at major international congresses & throughout the year to drive media awareness
- **External communication and media relations**
- Develops the external communication plan and the press relations plan.
- Defines the Specialties Division media, editorial and visual strategy: segmentation of message targets, choice of information channels and editorial, etc.
- Develop communication plans for the Specialties products. Collaborate and coordinate product communications projects with brand teams.
- Develops Daiichi Sankyo's reputation and image in Specialties by ensuring the media coverage of company events, whether they are of a corporate or product nature
- Ensures alignment of the European Communication team and program. Coordinates the actions initiated by DSE and Global.
- Be the main contact for journalists for all matters relating to the Specialties Business Unit: collects, analyzes and transmits requests for information from the press to the appropriate people; puts them in contact and organizes the response.
- Promote digital collaboration, connectivity & engagement between Daiichi Sankyo and external stakeholders.
- Give support to spokespersons of the Specialties Division in media actions (interviews, conferences, etc.)

**Qualification and Experiences**:

- University Degree
- Experience: 2-5 years

**Skills and additional Requirements**:

- Education: Degree in Communications/ public relations, journalism, marketing, or business school with a specialization in communications,
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a public rela-tions/communication/conference department or in a communication agency (Health field required)
- Demonstrated experience in managing integrated communications in the digital healthcare space (proven experience in social media management)
- Knowledge of the healthcare environment
- Fluent English
- Mastery of the different aspects of communication (corporate, internal, external, PR) and their imperatives
- Good writing skills and public speaking skills
- Very good interpersonal skills
- Ability to synthesize and analyze, to make proposals and to be creative
- Ability to work transversally with all departments of the company and the Group
- Reactivity, adaptability, flexibility
