**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:

- Work in a multi-BU environment, supporting customers across all Divisions
- Receive and unload incoming goods.
- Visual control of any transport damages and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.
- Accurately sort, label and store goods in appropriate locations; arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.
- Pick outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders.
- Pack goods according to ADR standards.
- Load goods onto forwarding truck; observe load securing of goods.
- Observe personal protective equipment and vehicle equipment of forwarder according to ADR standards.
- Enter data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock records.
- Retrieve stored information to respond to enquiries (for example on inventory levels or delivery schedules).
- Operate forklifts or other warehouse machinery.
- Care and maintenance of warehouse machinery and equipment.
- Housekeeping in warehouse and surrounding area.
- Perform other routine clerical activities as required according to the organization’s established procedures. These activities may include answering telephones; updating stock cards and inventory records; and completing receipt, transfer, delivery, and dispatch forms.

**POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- **Formal Education:
**Required**: Secondary school level education.

Vocational qualification.

**Preferred**:

- **Knowledge & Experience:
**Required**: Previous experience in a similar warehouse / shipping role.

**Preferred**: Safe handling with chemical goods/products.
- **Technical/skill Requirements:
**Required**:Valid Drivers License.

ADR certificate.

Forklift Truck License.

**Preferred**:

- **Travel Requirements (time spent away from home or other typical office location)**:None
