We are very happy to announce that we are currently looking for a Transport & Warehouse Coordinator based in Valencia to join one of our top clients in Spain. Our client is an international group specialized in the distribution of raw materials and chemical products for industry.

For this position we are looking for a profile with experience in managing transport services (road, sea and air) and warehouses. You will be the person responsible for the organization of the different transport suppliers (costs, quality of service, performance) as well as the management and communication with all the warehouses (management of order preparation schedules, stock discrepancies, inventories and checks on supplier invoices).

Main tasks

Transport
- Help design the best transport plan on the basis of contracts and agreements with partners.
- Organize transport according to internal customers' requests and ensure the monitoring of services.
- Manage reception and loading schedules of warehouses for distribution.
- Carry out spot consultations if the request does not fall within the framework of the flows already negotiated and contribute to the negotiation of new transport contracts.

Warehousing
- Organize logistics operations according to internal customers' requests and monitor services.
- Ensure the reliability of stocks with service providers and organize periodic inventories.
- Coordinate order preparation schedules with transport loading schedules
- Conduct spot consultations if the warehousing request does not fall within the scope of the services already negotiated and contribute to the negotiation of new warehousing contracts.
- Participate in innovation and continuous improvement projects, particularly on the means of communication.
- Deploy interface tools with carriers (EDI, pre-invoicing).
- Carry out analyzes (volume, cost, benchmark, etc.) to continuously optimize transport performance (cost & service).

**Requirements**:

- Mastery of office and computer tools
- Knowledge of transport regulations
- Knowledge of different modes of transport especially road
- Knowledge of warehouse management
- Proficiency in operating and transport planning software and packages (ERP, TMS)
- Fluent English essential
