This is a fantastic opportunity for an upcoming engineer to move from in-house or remote desk to a field based role.

You will work at a leading niche MSP type technology, B2B only and they cover all of Spain, some travel to the UK and in time other countries in Europe.

It is therefore important that you understand this role is both in Spanish and English.

Please understand we are looking for someone who:

- Has 4yrs+ IT or Tech work experience, quite possibly also completed an apprenticeship as they worked.
- Does not need to be sponsored by the employer - can travel to Europe without need of a visa.
- Has a valid Spanish driving license and use of their own vehicle.

**For this job you need**:

- Completed apprenticeship / Diploma / Degree / Certificate in a related field. CCNA helpful not essential (networking specialists do a lot of self-learning and some take other forms of on the job or tech brand certifications like Meraki, Ruckus, Aruba etc.)
- A willingness to travel to site, sometimes be away from the office or home on major installs or upgrades and at other times. Time away can vary from a few days to 2 weeks for a major installation new project.
- Solid investigative, problem solving, analysis and troubleshooting skills

- Must possess a valid Spanish driver’s license and have a good driving record (and own vehicle or be able to have a company car and be insured on a commercial company policy)
- Must be able to work odd evenings and weekends if required, sometimes with colleagues, at other times alone with mínimal supervision. Time off in lieu is the policy when extra hours are worked.
- Diligent, good time and priority management skills, comfortable communicating with people of different backgrounds and job roles ( maintenance person to a CEO).
- A positive attitude, can crack a joke and laugh at others who do the same, a can-do spirit and a curious mind are all essential.

**A good technician usually has**:

- 3+ years of experience working on projects under direction and then developed into a team lead or their own project lead working solo.
- Wi-Fi, cabling and access point experience on top of server imaging, router config and other networking activities and experience.
- Technology stack knowledge of any: Aruba, Cisco, HP, Meraki, Netgeat, Ruckus, Meraki, Switches, Wi-Fi heatmap software, ServiceNow or similar.

Please understand we are looking for the "right person" to fit into an existing team, your personality, how you are in certain situations and communicate when things get stressful (sometimes happens when working on networking issues) is as important as any academic qualification.

**WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR A PERFECT ENGLISH SPEAKER**:
Technical reports or sales proposals are written by others.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 24,500.00€ - 30,250.00€ per year

**Experience**:

- IT support: 3 years (preferred)
- Routers and switches: 2 years (preferred)
- networking troubleshooting: 2 years (preferred)
