With **HyPower **, Airbus UpNext has the ambition to deliver a disruptive and innovative project to demonstrate the potential of a sustainable power generation source used onboard the aircraft. This demonstrator will have a crucial role in determining the potential of hydrogen as an energy source in aviation.

This position is within the **Airbus UpNext subsidiary in Spain **and you are accountable for supporting and contributing to the execution strategy, organization, operations and performance of the Industrialization.

**Mission**

The demonstrator will integrate complex systems including power generation, electrical distribution and conversion, fuel storage and distribution, pneumatic and thermal systems. Those systems will include novel technologies for aviation, and will be integrated in a new system with new operational constraints. In order to validate and verify these systems, dedicated test means will be developed for this purpose.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

- Creating and maintaining the project schedule
- Following Agile Project Management techniques
- Coordinating several technical and non-technical teams to achieve the committed project milestones.
- Implementing and driving the risk management process to ensure all key risks are captured and mitigated
- Liaising with key suppliers to ensure the project is on track
- Track programme progress and provide reports and visibility of potential issues to allow for early mitigation and data-driven decisions
- Working closely with the other Project Management Officer in the team to ensure all Project Management activities are successfully performed. The exact responsibility split will vary and be adjusted according to the project phase and workload. Therefore an agile and flexible mindset is a must.
- Providing support as required to the Contract & Supplier Management Officer to contract new suppliers.

Due to the complexity of the project to manage (multi-system test bench), the tight timeline and the high dynamic environment, it’s required to have not only PMO skills, but also knowledge or experience in testing activities.

**_What you bring: _**
- Experience or at least knowledge in testing activities (bench and / or flight)
- Educated to degree level in any Engineering discipline
- At least 5 years experience in project management
- Proficiency in the use of MS Office or Google Suite tools
- Experience working with international and multicultural teams
- Fluency in English
- Experience in use of Agile methodologies (scrum, sprints, etc.) is a plus
- Some experience/background in Purchasing/Contracting is a plus
- Spanish language knowledge is a plus
- Keen to take initiatives to propose simpler and efficient ways of working
