**JOB SUMMARY**

The Regional Sales Manager Caribbean reports directly to the Director of Retail Sales and Customer Care and is required to oversee the Weddings Department in Jamaica as well as to build profitable relationships within the travel agent community in Jamaica and the Caribbean.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines:

- Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, Psychology or Economics.
- Minimum 5 years of wedding or event planning experience.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends.
- Must be able to travel within the region and outside of the Caribbean.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office (including Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Knowledge and experience in web-based meeting technology.
- Broad hospitality industry knowledge is required.

**Some of the duties and responsibilities of the Regional Dales Manager Caribbean are to**:

- Oversight of Corporate Office and Resorts’ Planners and Coordinators to ensure flawless execution of weddings.
- Provide support as needed in handling inbound calls and wedding-related escalated issues.
- Develop and Maintain a database of destination specialists in the Caribbean in order to create new revenue and track growth.
- Coordinate and host familiarization trips to acquaint local as well as US-based travel agents with the product.
- Provide ongoing support and feedback to the US-based Sales and Marketing team as needed.
- Participate in the creation and monitoring of agency and partner incentives.
