**Physiotherapist**
**Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Research Group**
Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) is a public sector institution, located in Barcelona (Spain) that
promotes and develops innovative biomedical research at the University Hospital Vall d'Hebron. VHIR is
oriented towards finding solutions to the health problems of the citizens and has the will to contribute to the
scientific, educational, social and economic development within its area of competence around the world.

VHIR offers a vacant position for a physiotherapist within the research group of VHIR Rehabilitation Service, within the
Horizon European project called SHARESPACE. This job position will last approximately 3 months with the possibility of
an extension.

**Education and qualifications**:
**Required: -**

Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy
- Specific training in neuromusculoskeletal rehabilitation, validation of novel technologies and virtual reality
- Fluency in Catalan and Spanish (business level)

**Desired: -**

Specific training in telerehabilitation and eHealth
- Fluency in English (basic level)

**Experience and knowledge**:
**Required: -**

At least 5 years of experience working as a physiotherapist

Experience in interaction with patients in a hospital environment
- Focused on team work

**Desired: -**

Previous experience in rehabilitation studies
- Experience attending and participating at congresses
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software: Excel, PowerPoint, Word and other database programs.

**Main responsibilities and duties: -**

Participation in the meetings and activities of the research group.
- Participate in an international clinical study to validate a virtual reality system.
- Collaborate with the Neurorehabilitation team:

- Defining the exercises for the rehabilitation with a virutal reality system for adults with
chronic lower back pain.
- Collecting and registering data, doing the training, treatment and follow-up of the patients.

**Labour conditions: -**

Part-time position: 20h/week.
- Starting date: immediate.
- Gross annual salary: 10.378’88 euros
