We are looking for a dynamic professional Software Deployment Specialist to join our Agilent Diagnostic Service team serving the European pathology market.
**Position Summary**:
**Responsibilities**
- Assist the field organization during sales process by providing technical expertise and expert knowledge of Agilent’s (formerly Dako) connectivity products as needed.
- Planning and mapping of the scope of work required
- Lead and manage all aspects of an implementation project
- Interface with customers and customer IT departments on their technical requirements for the proposed sale
- Work with LIS vendors to seamlessly integrate Agilent’s Dako labelled solutions
- Prepare installation of hardware and software at customer site and ensure installed systems are verified and validated
- Train internal employees and customers’ staff in use of Agilent’s Dako labelled solutions with a focus on the software
- Provide after sales service and support to customers who have “gone live” with Agilent’s Dako labelled products preferably remotely or on-site if necessary.
- Provide documentation and knowledge transfer of installations to Agilent support staff.
- Work with customers throughout Europe with a primary focus on Spain, Italy and the UK.
This position based in Spain is fully remote. Ideally, you can commute to a large city to be able to travel nationally and internationally.
**Qualifications**:
BA/BS in relevant field
Minimum 3-5 years related experience
Strong written and verbal Spanish skills
Strong written and verbal English skills
Ability to communicate with customer IT professionals at various level (big picture to intricate details)
Ability to deliver presentations to IT professionals as well as laboratory staff
Ability to develop confidence in IT staff and our sales team regarding the connectivity solutions area of expertise.
Background in medical LIMS systems, workflow management and deployment
Project management skills, technical specifications, project planning, testing design, implementation, validation and documentation
Experience programming and scripting (vbscript, SQLscript, SSRS)
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Lean and or Six Sigma experience preferred
This position requires regular travel with extended onsite time of up to 2-3 weeks during larger project implementations.
