As a humble family business that started 70 years ago, popularly known as AMW now a fully-owned subsidiary of Al Futtaim Group (AFG) of United Arab Emirates, is one of the pioneers in the Automotive industry in Sri Lanka.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Successfully completed a bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in marketing from a recognized institution, preferably CIM-(UK) and MBA would be an added advantage.
- Minimum 5 years managerial experience in sales/marketing and exposure to automotive sales would be advantageous.
- Good knowledge in financial modelling, change management, and ability to drive the team for exceptional results.
- Achievements orientated individual with excellent communication abilities and display good leadership skills.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide leadership to the ‘Yamaha team’ ensuring the achievement of planned sales volume with proper margins and achieve the desired profitability for the period.
- Build rapport and develop synergies with principles and the dealers to grow the market share.
- Manage the dealer network while driving results through engagement with all stakeholders and maximize operational efficiencies including optimal stock levels, debt collection and logistics.
- Manage the total quality of customer journey and engagement with the associates to motivate them for better results
