**About the job**
**_Product Analyst_**
- 100% Remote - Spain_
As an Product Analyst you will act as a translator of business needs to the technical team and the rest of the external teams or systems that are integrated into the product. You will ensure these are built with the best practices in mind and coordinate with the rest of the team working on other layers of the same infrastructure. Excellent communication skills will be required to coordinate work accords multiple teams to resolve issues. You will bring your experience, creativity and innovation to the table to deliver class leading solutions. You will work in a challenging agile environment with many other like-minded passionate and creative individuals in and across the teams in the project.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Roadmap**:
- Know the product strategy by communicating a clear vision and ensuring that all team members understand the goals and overall direction.
- Design a roadmap that covers the user's needs and ensures product market fit, crossing the objectives and economic returns with the opportunity that the market and customers offer us. To do this, you will analyze and research competing products.
- Direct, organize and supervise the entire life cycle of digital product development, from conception to implementation and successful launch.
- Develop and execute detailed project roadmap, including timelines and resources and budget. Supervise and coordinate all activities of the development team.
- Management of the financials necessary for the project, optimizing the balance between cost and the delivery of committed value
**Backlog**:
- Support the Product Owner in defining the product/project backlog (scope and requirements).
- Coordinate and assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring that available resources are used efficiently.
- Develop detailed requirements and functional specifications for product features together with businesses.
- Design the user experience together with the UX team, guiding and ensuring that the deliverables meet the client's expectation.
**Testing & KPIs**:
- Supervise development from a functional point of view, verifying that focus on agile value delivery is not lost.
- Participate in product testing, ensuring that it takes place, requesting intermediate demos and frequently reporting progress to stakeholders.
**Risks & Deployment**:
- Identify possible risks and obstacles in the project and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Coordinate the product launch, guiding and clarifying the rest of the team and stakeholders, supervising performance after the launch.
**KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS**:
- Functional knowledge or experience of the energy sector and specifically of refineries or process units.
- Significant previous experience as a Project Manager or Product Manager in the development of digital products/projects.
- In-depth knowledge of agile project management methodologies such as Scrum or Agile.
- Leadership and teamwork capacity in terms of coordination and collaboration with the development team and the agile delivery lead to execute the roadmap.
- Strong communication skills.
- Closeness, proactivity and innovation.
- High organizational level, taking into account that their role involves coordinating and directing highly complex projects with dependencies and participation of several of the Company's businesses.
- Capacity to influence.
- Problem-solving mentality and guiding others in uncertain environments.
