**About The Position**:
WebCargo digitizes global freight sales for over 2,000 of the world’s largest logistics providers and carriers. Or, in plain English, we help move the world, offering incredible technology that powers almost a third of the global air cargo market.

We’re not alone either. WebCargo is a proud part of the Freightos Group, a logistics technology company that aims to make global trade frictionless. That’s not cheap, so we’ve raised nearly $100 million from investors like GE Ventures, the Singapore Exchange and Aleph, making and have gotten the BBC, TechCrunch, and the Wall Street Journal excited about freight.

Turns out it’s kind of a big deal. As one of the largest tech platforms for a huge industry (the phone or computer you’re reading this on was, after all, shipped), we’ve been crushing it with double-digit growth, year after year.

“But what will I do on a daily basis?”, you shout with entirely appropriate enthusiasm. “What is a brand associate? And why this job description using so many exclamation marks?” All good questions. You’ll help define and execute a brand strategy that ensures that our target markets in the global logistics space - analysts, trade publications, carriers, and freight companies - understand how freightastic what we’ve built is.

“But brand, like tofu, is an amorphous and ambiguous phrase. Can you specify the specific responsibilities while suavely weaving it into this odd question and answer job description format?” You bet we can.

**Responsibilities**:

- Defining and executing a crisp brand strategy, with crystal clear messaging tailored for our key markets. Then building up the comms and content strategy to support it.
- Support global/regional trade publications and analyst relationships. We have a good name, insights and credibility. You’ll put that in a Ninja mixer to create Brand McFlurry.
- Create and execute a trade show/speaking strategy to showcase our vision of global trade. And then reveal that we used the word trade in the previous sentence, each with a different meaning.
- Write right in English. Working with a world-class thought leadership team (seriously, Google or Alta Vista it, and you’ll see just how much of a mark Freightos and WebCargo have made), you’ll create content and thought leadership strategies that bridge the realm of high-level vision with our products.
- Work together with our corporate marketing team, product marketing, and research teams to make the magic happen.

You are a:

- Rapid learner. This is a new industry for most people, and it will take some rapid learning.
- Fantastic communicator, with an emphasis on writing. Getting points across in what can sometimes be super, super complex, is an uphill battle. You are our secret weapon.
- More organized than a Trapper Keeper (remember those?). Brand marketing can be vague. You’ll need to converge our brand marketing around specific targets and methodically chip away, moving the ball forward consistently and constantly, without falling back on cliché phrases like we just did.

You have:

- 2+ years of experience working with media.
- Truly wonderful writing skills, ideally with a strong content background.
- You like working with people.
- Pitch-perfect English.
- Communication background / PR experience. You’re new to freight...but not to communications. We’re looking for people with content and PR experience.
- A get ship done approach that helps you both strategize and execute.
- An overdeveloped creative muscle to take what some people think is a boring industry and turn it into freight flair
