About The Role
Seeking to harness the power of Machine Learning in consultancy? We are on the lookout for an Engineering intern specializing in Machine Learning to expand our dynamic consulting team. If you possess an analytical mindset, revel in tackling technical problems, and are eager to deliver impactful data-driven strategies, you could be the perfect fit
Key Responsibilities-
- Engage in data cleaning, preprocessing, and exploratory data analysis.- Assist in the development and validation of machine learning models.- Contribute to the implementation and deployment of machine learning solutions in cloud environments.- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to present findings and solutions.- Research new models, data sources, implementations, and recent developments that can enhance the solutions of the department.
Qualifications & Professional Skills- Current enrollment or recent completion of a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.- Proficient in Python programming with familiarity in machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, NetworkX, PyTorch, etc.- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.- Strong foundation in mathematics, particularly in statistics and linear algebra.- Acquainted with software development tools and practices, including version control (git), testing, and debugging.- Exceptional problem-solving abilities.- Team-oriented with a capacity for collaborative work in a team environment.- Strong planning, scheduling, and organizational capabilities.- A dedication to client service excellence.- Advanced level of English.
Preferred Technical Skills- Experience or knowledge of databases and SQL.- Familiarity with Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).- Understanding of deploying machine learning models in a production environment.
Work Location & Schedule- Based in Madrid with flexibility for teleworking.- Part-time position with schedule adaptability.- Type of internship: Intra-curricular or extra-curricular internships, whatever you need- Duration of approx. 6 months, adjustable to university requirements.
