As a member of the Grid Compliance and Control team, performing grid code compliance

simulations for wind turbines and wind farms globally, as well as developing and

improving electrical models of wind turbines, wind farms and power system components

and generating analysis reports.

Education: BSc or MSc in electrical or electronic engineering or similar equivalent.

PhD is a plus.

Previous experience: Ideally minimum of 10 or more years experience in electrical

power engineering modelling and simulation, in industry and/or academia.

How to contribute to our vision
- Grid connection analysis studies via simulations (e.g. RMS, EMT, harmonic) in various simulation tools such as DIgSILENT PowerFactory (with DSL language), PSCAD, PSS/E.
- Preparation of technical reports addressing the compliance to the grid codes requested for different projects/countries.
- Hardware In the Loop (HIL) testing of wind turbine controls and modelling (e.g. with RTDS, OPAL/RT or similar)
- Creation and integration of compiled code and DLLs into simulation tools.
- Support to design and customer support teams regarding electrical models and grid interaction issues.
- Represent the company in meetings with the customers, consultants and international committees
- Support sales at customer appointments during contract negotiations regarding electrical systems.
- Support Purchasing department in contract negotiations with suppliers of electrical systems for the wind turbines.

What you need to make a difference

SW skills:

- Advanced level experience with at least one of the tools below;
- DIgSILENT PowerFactory (RMS and/or EMT with DSL language), PSCAD, PSS/E.
- C/C++, Fortran, Python would be a plus
- MS Office
- Languages: High level of English writing and speaking
