Arcserve seeks a motivated individual to fill the position of EMEA Accountant for our European business. This role can he remove in Ireland, Spain or the United Kingdom.

**Duties will include**:

- Quarterly and annual internal/external audit requests
- Monthly closing entries
- Prepare payroll including commission calculation (IE, PT, FR, UK, DE)
- EMEA revenue calculations
- Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions
- Post Credit Notes
- Resolves collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, credit line, managing customer ledgers
- Pay vendors, resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit is received for outstanding memos
- Check all submitted expenses adhere to the company expenses policy
- Pays employees by receiving and verifying expense reports and requests for advances
- Working with external providers and internal tax consultant on annual tax compliance
- Processing incoming mail concerning billing and invoicing
- Communicating with clients about billing discrepancies and questions
- VAT Returns EMEA
- Managing Office Mail

**Qualification and Educational requirements;**
- Qualified accountant
- Proficiency in financial reporting systems (Navision beneficial)
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite required.
- Fluent English.
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
- Exposure to US GAAP accounting preferred.
