This role would suit someone with experience in Forwarding Operations looking to progress into a Global role, or someone who has Sales experience who would like to go into Account Management.

The Global Account Manager will serve as a point of contact for all customer inquiries about the accounts they manage. The primary duties include contributing information to sales strategies by assessing current product results, monitoring competitive products, assessing needs to be filled and analysing customer reactions. The role will also build a Global Standard and operational process to drive efficiency within the team.

**_Key responsibilities_**

**Operations**
- Growing share of wallet for assigned key accounts.
- Growing Sales and GP Lines for each targeted Product for assigned key account.
- Seeking, developing, and managing new opportunities from assigned key accounts through project cargo and general cargo (inbound to manufacturing sites and outbound to project sites).
- Working with Branch, Product and Vertical Teams to respond to RFQ’s to enable Company to win new business from assigned key account
- Keeping CW1 CRM updated with Inquiries and Opportunities as well as Communications with each account.
- Seeking, developing and managing process improvements for assigned key account around Sales, Operations, Finance.
- Managing business implementation for new business (spot and contracted) with Support from Branch, Product and Vertical Teams including building client specific SOP’s.
- Mapping all the various local production plant locations from assigned key accounts and work with Branch, Sales, Product and Vertical Teams to nurture the relationship with the local stakeholders in each plant.
- Organizing Quarterly business reviews with assigned key accounts and internal key stakeholders.
- Supporting Accounts Receivable efforts for assigned key account
- Supporting with local data for QBR reviews with Energy & Projects Vertical Management.
- Supporting Accounts Receivable efforts.

**Customer Service**
- Developing and maintaining long-term relationship with existing and new contacts from assigned key account.
- Maintaining strong customer relations and satisfaction; proactively and diligently works to handle customers’ enquiries and ensure customer problems are resolved quickly.
- Working with internal departments to plan and integrate BD strategies. Interact and communicate with operations to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
- Performing regular visits to qualified prospects and customers, in accordance with management’s directives, to drive the business and grow the company’s revenue.
- Building relationships at all levels and represents the company in a professional manner.
- Servicing all customer needs, initiating and monitoring the completion of customer contracts and developing requests for commercial proposal and bids incorporating clearly defined terms and conditions.

**What we need from you**:

- The ability to make recommendations/proposals, be persistent and overcome resistance to influence and close the sale.
- Previous experience in Freight Forwarding and/or Sales in the Forwarding industry.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
- A high level of energy with a "can-do" positive attitude and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Eligibility to work in the country in which you will be employed is essential.
