**The incumbent serves as the Project Manager for Connect PPG Regional Deployment Team. This key business initiative includes integration, testing and deployment activities as well as projects in various functional areas. This person will report to the EMEA Deployment Director. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects which will entail working with a cross-functional team, setting and monitoring timelines, identifying and minimizing risks, communicating and presenting progress reports to ensure that each initiative delivers all business objectives and benefits.**

The incumbent will be responsible to recognize the cultural implications of mixing skilled workers from many nations, along with the tactical steps required for teams to collaborate effectively. This will require strong communication, prioritization, and coordination skills. The Project Manager should use appropriate processes and systems to ensure good coordination and communication of projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **_ Business_**

Incumbent acts as the primary liaison between global and regionals team to communicate project activities. As the main regional contact, the project manager is responsible for defining the scope on projects, setting and controlling expectations, co-manage the functional and technical resources required on the project and directly influence project priorities.
- **_ Technical_**

The Project Manager must have experience managing projects. He/she provides leadership and gives direction to both PPG employees and external resources. Incumbents must have the ability to develop and maintain fully integrated project plans which specify project goals, deliverables, scheduling, risk assessment, contingency planning, and recommend resource allocation. Incumbent is responsible for monitoring and reporting to management on the status of project efforts and is held accountable for controlling project plans.

He/she assures that project team members adhere to internal standards, established methodologies and procedures for project reporting, design, development, documentation, and quality assurance.
- **_ Interpersonal_**

The Project Manager must be organized, articulate, detail-oriented, and comfortable leading, delegating, and influencing within a team structure. Incumbent requires experience interacting with individuals at all levels. He/she facilitates and coordinates communication between all pertinent functions on projects.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience project management.
- Strong project management skills, including defining, organizing, planning and executing projects from vision through implementation.
- Ability to lead and effectively participate in teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in audience appropriate terms.
- Ability to work without close supervision and remain focused on short and long-term objectives.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and strong analytical skills for identifying and solving problems are essential.
- Fluent in English.

No direct reports - coordinates efforts of various project team members. The location is flexible in EMEA.
