Our extraordinary #farmtotable Osteria in the heart of the buzzing Plaza del Parque is looking for a chef de rang with a passion for great food who loves giving excellent service to clients.

**About our founder Tito Piazza**:
He gained employment at one of the world's most acclaimed restaurants: Harry's Bar by Cipriani in Venice. He worked his way up through the kitchen and eventually spent over 20 years working for the Cipriani family, moving to NYC in 1997 as a corporate chef for the group. He also spent time working in Miami and the UAE until he was sent to Ibiza to design and develop the kitchen and menu of the flagship Balearic Cipriani restaurant in 2012. At this stage, Tito began to feel called in a different direction.

The island of Ibiza was working its magic on him, and after two summer seasons - in love with his new home - he decided it was time to open his restaurant. Somewhere with a more personal touch, where value was placed on authenticity and honouring the climate and products of the Balearic Islands. Sustainability and a zero-waste ethos have been at the heart of the Locals Only philosophy since its opening in 2014. Almost all of our farm-to-table produce is organic and sourced locally, particularly when it comes to the incredible KMZero bounty of the Mediterranean's fruit, vegetables, fish, and seafood.

**Responsabilities**
- Preparing and cooking high quality dishes within the speciality section
- Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in creating menu items.
- Assisting with the management of food hygiene practices.
- Monitoring portion and waste control
- Maintenance of kitchen and food safety standards

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 2 years experience as chef de partie in medium size kitchens
- Culinary school background.
- Passion for cooking and hospitality.
- Full knowledge of working with fresh ingredients and preparing risottos and pasta "á la minute" with timer.
- Knowledge of Italian and international cuisine.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Technical English language (preferably fluent); Spanish is a plus.
- International HACCP.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Office Microsoft skills (or Numbers).
- 3 positive references from previous jobs (preferably most recent).

**Offer (TBD)**:

- Period: Immediate, thru October 31 (possible extension thru mid December, TBD)
- 6 days per week, split shifts. For the high season and depending on the team skills, potential adjusting to (partial) straight shifts
