**Job Description**:
We are looking for an experienced and visionary leader to manage our multinational business. You will be responsible for a key element of Everest’s growth strategy; delivering exceptional, customised end to end service and support to our growing base of cross border clients.

You will design our offering, building a team, infrastructure, and core processes for success. Alongside the International CEO, you will be responsible for setting up and implementing strategies, managing activities, developing relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring exceptional financial performance.

You will work with your team to build the core infrastructure and processes in three significant phases, at each one working towards wider expansion. With significant investment and commitment to growth you will have the full support of a wide group of experienced senior colleagues to support you and the team on this expansion journey.

Objectives of this role
- Build the foundations of our multinational business whilst managing profitably of our portfolio.
- Translate our strategy into action; building the multinational team and function.
- Initiate phase one of our strategy; focused on Casualty placements with European exposures.
- Drive performance; building a growing and sustainable portfolio that can mature within 2-3 years, ensuring we have the capability and capacity to service a full multinational and multi-class portfolio worldwide.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to secure the ongoing expansion of our multinational operation.

**Responsibilities**:
Leadership and strategic planning; lead the establishment and development of the multinational business, including business planning, market entry strategy, and operations setup. With a service centred approach, you will need to excel at stakeholder management, stay updated on industry trends, competition, and emerging opportunities in the insurance market whilst ensuring Everest gets the exposure it needs to grow.

Business operations: provide clients with central control of their insurance program everywhere they operate with seamless program administration and consistent standard of cover, risk management, claims handling, and servicing worldwide. Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve financial and operational goals whilst working with your team to manage the daily operations of the business.

Financial performance; monitor and report on financial performance, including premium income, loss ratios, and expenses. Manage the P&L, understanding performance drivers and analysing complex performance data to support decision making.

Regulatory Compliance: continuous improvement of compliance playbook on underwriting, tax, regulations, etc.

Risk management: evaluate and manage risk exposures.

Required skills and qualifications
- Extensive experience of multinational products and services
- Proven track record of successfully launching and growing insurance businesses
- Excellent strategic planning and problem-solving abilities
- Thorough understanding of the global insurance market
- First class Commercial Insurance knowledge gained across all classes of business.
- Experience of Organisation Design and Development, an ability to manage and thrive on change, bringing enthusiasm and direction.
- Integrity, credibility, and presence at Senior levels
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Highly collaborative and able to work effectively across the organisation.
- Demonstrated bias for action with a high sense of urgency and drive for superior results.
