Within CO+I, the strategic Supply Chain team is responsible for establishing a supply chain that can meet the ever-growing growth of the Cloud and our customers. We support a portfolio of complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-billion, multi-year datacenter construction projects. Furthermore, we support the Operations team that manages and runs the cloud assets.

We are looking to fill a critical role of
**Substations Execution Contracts**
**Manager** to support the procurement and contracts management of multiple substation development projects in support of our Data Center build program in EMEA.

**Responsibilities**:

- Procurement Planning: _Implement procurement plans to effectively deliver against project goals on budget.
- Negotiation: _Implement appropriate negotiation strategies for the scope.
- Supplier Selection: _Participate in supplier selection and performance management; ensure alignment to Microsoft business goals throughout.
- Contracting: _Understand industry contracting norms and Microsoft contracting requirements; participate in negotiation of contracts that meet business goals.
- Contract Oversight: _Monitor key elements of supplier performance to contracted requirements; implement corrective action and lessons learned.
- Project Management: _Develop and implement plans to effectively deliver goods and services on time and within specification while managing risk.
- Continuous Improvement: _Always seek ways to streamline, automate, and simplify processes; includes deployment of tools, using data analytics and working with IT groups to define system requirements

**Qualifications**:
**Category Experience**:

- Deep Construction Execution Experience in Supply Chain and Contracts Management is an absolute requirement for this role.
- Experience in procurement and contracts management of energy infrastructure and substation projects.
- Experience on large-scale energy infrastructure development programs and substation projects - sourcing, managing, and administering multiple contracts exceeding USD$100M per annum.
- Technical understanding of HV/MV substation builds with a detailed knowledge of supply chain for long lead components such as Transformers and Switchgear.
- Strong negotiation skills, ability to lead a cross functional team in the development of negotiation plans to drive positive outputs.

**Travel**:
Be able to travel up to 50%, generally within EMEA region.

**Sundry Capabilities - **English language competency is a must for the role.
