We are looking for a passionate, high-energy individual to help build the network that powers the world's largest online services.* Within CO+I, the strategic Supply Chain team is responsible for establishing a supply chain that can meet the ever-growing growth of the Cloud and our customers. We support a portfolio of complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-billion, multi-year datacenter construction projects. Furthermore, we support the Operations team that manages and runs the cloud assets.* We are looking to fill a critical role of Sub-Regional Contracts Manager to lead the procurement and contracts management of multiple data center build projects in Southern Europe as we continue to develop our build program across the EMEA region.* This is a management role where the chosen candidate will lead a team of experienced contracts managers spread across multiple build locations with responsibility for developing and implementing procurement strategies across multiple construction professional services categories including General Contractors, Specialist Trade Contractors, Architects & Engineers, Commissioning Agents and Project Managers.* In addition to the procurement and contracting of the various construction categories this role will also encompass the post contract management and administration of the contracts up to and including the negotiation of final account agreements.* The Sub-Regional Contracts Manager will work in a cross functional leadership team for the Sub-Region managing interfaces with all related functions such as Engineering, Project Controls and Construction Execution.* In alignment with our Microsoft values, we are committed to cultivating an inclusive work environment for all employees to positively impact our culture every day.* This role is eligible for hybrid or remote work, up to 50%Required Qualifications* Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Supply Chain or construction related field AND significant experience in dedicated Construction role* Solid people management experience.* Solid experience working in portfolio role across multiple geographies, preferably with EMEA experience
