The hotel belongs to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group which is an international hotel management group with more than 38 luxury hotels, resorts and residences with a worldwide presence in Asia, Europe and the Americas.

Mandarin Oriental Barcelona Hotel has 120 rooms, 28 of which are suites. All of our exquisite rooms and suites are uniquely decorated by Patricia Urquiola.

In addition to accommodation, the hotel has rooms that we rent for all kinds of events, such as weddings, meetings, business meetings...

Regarding the hotel's gastronomy, we have a 2 Michelin star restaurant, a wonderful cocktail bar, indoor garden Mimosa and the pool terrace where you can enjoy light dinners or spectacular views.

The hotel Spa consists of 8 treatment rooms, both facial and body, indoor pool and gym.

We are currently looking for new talent to join the HSK department as Housekeeping Supervisor.

**What will be the main functions you will perform in your position?**

**It is the mission and intent of this position that the Housekeeping Supervisor will take full responsibility for managing all aspects of the Housekeeping operation.**:
**The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for all day to day operational activities within the Housekeeping department, on an assigned hotel area. He/she must ensure that all Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group standards with regards to cleanliness are consistently maintained at a very high level. He/she is responsible for resolving guests’ and staff’s needs and creating a climate of mutual respect and enthusiasm.**:

- **Recognize and report all missing, damaged or sub-standard fixtures and equipment.**
- **Inspect assigned guestrooms. Ensure all general cleaning, preparation for VIP’s, early arrivals and special cleaning requests are done.**
- **Ensure all items are in place in guestrooms.**
- **Monitor and maintain perfect cleanliness in all public areas.**
- **Monitor and maintain all back of the house areas.**

**Monitor correct handling of all guest requests and guest room servicing needs.**:

- **Conduct daily pre-shift meetings.**
- **Assist Housekeeping Management in all employee motivational and training programs.**
- **Train employees in maintaining clean, organized and properly stocked work areas and equipment.**
- **Train and monitor room attendants daily to ensure that standards of service and cleanliness are understood and followed.**
