The Team and Job Summary

We are seeking a **Consultant Planner **to join our **Construction Advisory** team. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven person with a well-rounded skill set to join the team in Spain. This person will primarily be involved in delivering dispute resolution services and contract management/claims consulting to our clients.

Job Responsibilities
- Develop and/or review claims in construction and engineering projects while being responsible for contract management.
- Take part in the preparation of expert witness reports, focusing on quantum topics (prolongation costs, changes, loss of productivity, etc.).
- Select appropriate delay analysis methodologies with the guidance of the manager.
- Assist in performing commission reviews and identifying claim strategy.
- Demonstrate ability to deliver concise and compelling event chronologies, drafting completed sections of Claim reports while following the defined form and structure guidelines.
- Review facts, correspondence, and project control records to prepare quantifications of claims.
- Peer review, critique, and edit work involved in the commission review process.
- Provide real-time feedback on work product and other activities to the allocated resources and upstream it to the manager, ensuring allocated Commission elements are completed on time and within budget.

Required Qualifications
- A recognized undergraduate degree in engineering, quantity surveying, construction management, or similar.

Several years of on-site or project construction experience with engineering or construction firms, or a construction claim/dispute firm (different levels of experience may be considered).

Fluent in Spanish and English, other languages are an advantage.

Familiarity with claims and/or expert witness work, or exposure to arbitration processes is preferred.

Knowledge of Primavera P6 and MS Project software.

Physical and Mental Job Qualifications
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to travel
