**General information about the role**

Title: Role: IT L2 Communications

The Team: BT Second line Support

Contract Type: Fixed-term

Work Schedule: Normal working hours + on call

Home office opportunity: Yes, depending on further agreement

Work location: Madrid

**Key responsibilities**
- Providing support for Access/distribution server network, user network, security network: final architecture design. Routing/switching politic redesign ((OSPF, STP convergence, routing filters, Access politic, core network interconnection
- Being responsible for equipment review Juniper (MX series, EX series), Cisco (3xxx Series, 6xxx (VSS)
- Providing support for Technologies: MPLS/IP, VPN L2/L3, Routing BGP/ OSPF/RIP Unicast / Multicast.
- Providing support for Wifi Aruba / clearpasdd Aruba / FW Palo Alto
- Providing support for DHCP infoblox / Balanceadores F5 / NETSCALER (CITRIX)"
- Being responsible of monitoring Review over: Spectrum /Nagios /PRTG
- A person who is serious and committed in the long term with the project is necessary. With a positive attitude for learning and evolution
- Ability to understand a very demanding client.

- Ability to meet the customers’ needs in line with the business requirements.
- Working with a cooperative and positive attitude in a group setting to achieve common goals
- Communicating effectively and efficiently while adapting to your audience and getting the message through as intended
- Ability to comprehend and to oversee various aspects of a problem or a situations
- Ability to find root causes of problems and to focus on their quick and efficient solution
- Taking the responsibility and taking care of the consequences of making a decision

**Professional skills**:
A must:

- 2 years of experience in Networking and switching
- CCNA certification

An advantage:

- Advanced routing BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, Switching, Multicast, QoS.
- LAN / WAN / WIFI environments and CPD infrastructures.
- Knowledge of scripting programming: Perl, Python
- English on a conversational level is a must
