In addition to its own products, BASF Española S.L. markets more than 5,000 products from the BASF Group: chemical, organic and inorganic products, catalysts; phytosanitary products, plastic materials, dispersions and raw materials for the inks, paints, plastics, paper, ceramics and cosmetics industry.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
The Business Unit Animal Nutrition has defined several core markets in which the customers are directly managed by a local BASF Account manager with the objective to provide them with the best services. Commercial management of local, regional and international customers.
- Overall customer relationship management + accounts plan development for V&C Business of BASF's Animal Nutrition unit in Spain, Portugal and France.
- You will be responsible for carrying out the continuous market evaluation and will therefore collect as well as report all relevant market data. Conclusion of short and long term commecial contracts including price&volume negotiations.
- You will monitor sales budgets, taking corrective action where necessary & Perform Sales Excellence (Account Plans, Salesforce, ForeCast, accurate on-time reporting, budgeting).
- Present the products (V&C) of the GBU Nutrition Ingredients in front of your customers as well as stakeholders and will subsequently carry out contract negotiations.
- Tailored to the customer needs, develop as well as implement customer-specific product placement strategies and define the own market position regarding all relevant competitors.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- You have ideally obtained a degree or PhD in animal nutrition or other related field and have already gained experience in some business and/or thecnical experiencie (other scientific background combined with industry experience are possible).
- You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position within the industry.
- You stand out due to your open-minded personality and your entrepreneurial drive, collaborate for achievement, either customer focus/effect.
- Last but not least, you are able to present confidently and convincingly in both Spain and French and you are fluent in English. Knowledge of Catalan, Portuguese or German would be a plus.
