As an Database Administrator you would be in charge of understand operating System influences on DB segment You will ensure these are built with the best practices in mind and coordinate with the rest of the team working on other layers of the same infrastructure. Excellent communication skills will be required to coordinate work accords multiple teams to resolve issues. You will bring your experience, creativity and innovation to the table to deliver class leading solutions. You will work in a challenging agile environment with many other like-minded passionate and creative individuals in and across the teams in the project.
Proven working experience as a Database Administrator
SQL Scripting / build Stored Procedure / Function / DB Partitioning
Design HA Solution for DR
Understand DR movement and should have experience on DR drill and actual DR activities
Design and implement DB maintenance.
Knowledge on SQL Scripting and Automate task to reduce manual interaction.
Understanding on SQL Server Tuning to improve performance.
Database backup / Recovery in a way that meets the business’s Recovery Point Objectives (RPO)
Configure SQL Server monitoring utilities and generate notification, Alerts to respective forum also have concept to manage third-party alert generation/monitoring tools.
In case of performance issues, determine the most effective way to increase performance including hardware changes, server configuration changes, or index/query changes.
Knowledge on SQL patching
Concept on SQL Encryption
Enable Database Security
Manage technical aspects of the databases and processes.
Assist in maintaining and improving database operational efficiency.
Database Migration (On Prem / Azure )
Experience on Third-Party tools like Ideara, Litespeed, DPA etc
