We are looking for a Database administrator (M/F) to join our R&D department. As a member of the Software Engineering team in Madrid, you would have the responsibility for databases' design, maintenance, performance, integrity and security.
Responsibilities Take part in the decision-making process for technical choices Performances monitoring and fine-tuning the DB Refine design to meet DB requirements Prepare for and maintain standards (i.e. GDPR) Control access permissions and privileges Work closely with the development teams Make DB architectural choices Lead the data management transformation Requirements At least 5 years of experience in database administration Strong experience in PostgreSQL database Advanced knowledge in SQL with experience in optimizing SQL queries Experience with PostGIS is an asset Experience with hibernate (caching data, performance optimization) is an asset Team spirit Ability to work in fast-paced agile environment Well organized, able to produce clean, concise code and/or documentation Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Professional written and verbal communication skills in English • French, Spanish or Portuguese are an asset Information Expected start date: April 2023
