**Descripción**: The Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) is a cutting-edge institute addressing global public health challenges through research, translation into policy and education. ISGlobal has a broad portfolio in communicable and non-communicable diseases including environmental and climate determinants, and applies a multidisciplinary scientific approach ranging from the molecular to the population level. Research is organized in the following main areas, Malaria and other Infectious Diseases, Maternal, Child and reproductive Health, Urban Health and Child and environmental health, Climate & Non-Communicable Diseases. ISGlobal is accredited with the Severo Ochoa distinction, a seal of excellence of the Spanish Science Ministry.

- Barcelona**What We Are Looking for**:

- ISGlobal is seeking a project manager who is interested in taking over and managing activities of the project Caixaresearch Living Lab. The overall project goal is to bring civil society closer to science through the execution of participatory research projects.**Key Responsibilities**:

- Managing activities
- Establish alliances with different stakeholders, schedule meetings, prepare agendas and lead the meetings
- Coordinate the activities, monitor the execution of the project and elaborate reporting documents
- Research activities
- Collaboration in research protocol and design elaboration
- Execution of field work such as interviews and focus groups
- Analysis of results
- Writing of the reports

**Specific Duties**:

- Ensure the achievement of the set goals
- Monitor the budget execution
- Coordinate the project planning and the setting of specific goals
- Coordinate and monitor the tasks of the team work
- Maintain coordination with project partners
- Establish new alliances with stakeholders in the system
- Design and facilitate participatory workshops and co-creation spaces with citizenship and different stakeholders

**Auxiliar task**:

**Training and experience /Qualifications**:

- 3 years of experience in project management of research and/or innovation and/or managerial projects in the health, research and/or innovation organizations, both public and private, as well as non-profit and for-profit;
- Experience in participatory action, community-based participatory research project;
- Project management and communication skills
- Experience in European/ international grants writing

**Specific Requirements**:

- Graduate degree in the health sciences, or social sciences;
- Ability to multitask so as to support multiple projects;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Problem solving skills;
- Team player with the ability to play different roles within the team
- Good presentation skills;

**Skills**:

- Learning capacity.

The post holder will adhere to ISGlobal principles contained in People management policy, including Equity, diversity and health safety. The post holder will respect, and accountable to ensure ISGlobal policies and procedures.

**Language level**:

- English and Spanish high level written and spoken;
- Another European language will be positively evaluated

**Conditions**:

- Duration:1 year
- Starting date: 01/06/2023
- Contract: part time 50%

**Selection Process**:
The selection process is designed in two phases:
1- Interview phase of a technical nature, with the team that requires the incorporation. To assess the person's skills and CV.
2 - Meeting with HR with the finalist(s) to finish assessing the profile and discuss contractual and institutional issues.

If needed any technical test could be pass. A Psychological Competency Evaluation Test will be required for the structural or transversal positions.
