The Mission:. As Worldsensing grows, the importance and relevance of Legal and Compliance aspects increase, helping the company align its actions with corporate values. The In-house Lawyer will assist the VP of Product and Compliance in systematizing, strengthening, and enhancing the company's governance activities, while also providing daily legal support to all business areas that require it.

Responsibilities: In close collaboration with external advisors, the main responsibilities of the role will be:

- Collaborating with internal departments and external stakeholders on various legal matters, including business, corporate affairs and personnel.
- Ensuring legal compliance across all internal departments in their activities.
- Drafting, negotiating, and monitoring contracts and other legal documentation of the business.
- Preparing, and reviewing non-standard commercial contracts based on specific requests, and participating in negotiations as required by internal stakeholders.
- Managing and maintaining corporate legal documentation.
- Automating legal and compliance processes.
- Performing administrative tasks to support legal operations.
- Ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
- Identifying risks and suggesting alternatives to mitigate risks in commercial and third-party transactions.
- Providing the Product & Compliance department with timely and accurate legal advice on various topics, including clarification of legal specifications.
- Leading the development and execution of internal and external compliance initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to data protection policies within the organization.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Law.
- Main interest in commercial and business law.
- Experience with legal tech SaaS platforms.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position.
- An interest in developing a career as a company in-house lawyer
- Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English and Spanish, including legacy.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to combine legal and business knowledge to understand, prioritize and provide ways to ensure that the business maintains its legal operations its highest standard
- Advanced user of MS Office (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- (Desired) Previous experience in the technological sector.
- (Desired) Verifiable knowledge of privacy laws, especially GDPR.
- (Desired) Verifiable knowledge on ISO framework.
