**Job Description and Requirements**
- Synopsys is looking for a Network Engineer to join our Data center Network Engineering and Architecture team. This team handles design, vision, and driving major initiatives for Data center and cloud. We support a global network consisting of 100+ office locations, 50 data centers and a growing cloud presence.
- You will have a direct impact on design architecture, new features, and technology enhancements. Your focus will be network, data centers, and cloud. You will work with our core team in the US and our global partners to optimize performance, efficiency, and support. Our team focuses on innovation, efficiency and customer experience.**Responsibilities**
- Contribute to architecting, planning, implementing, and driving initiatives
- Optimize and improve design standards
- Manage many projects and initiatives simultaneously
- Test new technologies and provide visionary roadmap for productivity improvements
- Prepare technical designs documents, project plans and presentations
- Automate processes and workflows to optimize efficiency

**Key Qualifications**
- BA/BS in a technical field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of network and data center experience, supporting medium and large enterprise environments
- Flexible hours to join late afternoon/early evening meetings
- Solid network and data center foundation
- Cisco ACI fabric design and implementation experience
- Data center
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Proven automation experience
- Python, ansible (or similar) scripting skills
- Network automation mindset
- Experience with Google, AWS, Azure cloud environments
- Experience with DCIM specially Sunbird

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Creative problem-solving abilities
- Experience using business intelligence reporting tools
- Quicksight, Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, etc.
- Aruba Wireless and network general knowledge
- Palo Alto firewall and security policy management knowledge
- Experience with CloudFormation, ARM Template, Cloud Composer
- Adept understanding with BGP and OSPF routing protocols
- Knowledgeable on OWASP Top 10 and general security best practices
- Ability to assess and perform vulnerability mitigation
