Minimum requirements
- Strong programming skills in C#, Knowledge of C++ Desirable.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in the games industry is a must
- Good understanding of the problem of lag, prediction and correction
- Proficiency in developing online game features.
- Understanding of network protocols such as HTTP, TCP & UDP
- Knowledge of client/server architectures and the full network stack
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently when required
- Outstanding communication skills, verbal and written
- Robust and up-to-date knowledge of the game industry
- Understands the various development methodologies
- Adaptability to pipelines and procedures for game development
- Strong collaborative skills
- Shipped PC and / or Console multiplayer game/s is a must
Desired requirements
- Basic knowledge of 3D editors and other game engines
- General knowledge of design patterns, algorithms, and data structures
- Availability in the EU time zone
- Knowledge of Photon or other commercial online solutions
- Experience with backend /full stack.
- Knowledge of AWS / Azure is a plus.
Duties
- Define, Plan and implement framework / programming solutions for online features.
- Establish responsible deadlines and personal work plans and manage time effectively.
- Follow and enhance existing development processes.
- Coordinate with design/art teams to create new game features.
- Debug and fix issues in the existing code base.
- Collaborate with required stakeholders
- Participate in code reviews, peer programming to increase code quality
