Synergy Games is a studio established by professionals with more than 15 years of experience in the video game industry. We have worked for companies such as Ubisoft, 2K Games, MercurySteam, Ilion Studios, Konami, Nintendo, Riot Games and Pyro Studios
- We are developing
Synergy Land, a blockchain multiplayer ARPG game, set in a fantasy world, with NFTs and a blockchain-enhanced economy.
- Inspired by popular games, such as Diablo and Path Of Exile, the game aims to combine the best of these worlds where regular and hardcore players will enjoy the gameplay experience as well as an ecosystem for players who want to collect and trade NFTs, giving to the community true ownership of digital assets

Position:
- We are looking for a
Lead Gameplay Programmer for a team working on AI and combat systems for an exciting AAA game. This job is a blend of direct technical contribution and team management, balancing programming work in the combat/AI realm with managing, mentoring, and caring for the well-being of your team members.
Requirements:
***- 5+ years of industry experience as a Gameplay Programmer
- Minimum 1 full project cycle of experience managing in a lead capacity
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
- Strong practical knowledge of C++, with relevant professional experience.
- Strong understanding of gamedevelopment.
- The ability to communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical team members.
- Professional experience iteratively implementing gameplay features from inception to delivery.
- Experience mentoring junior team members and providing clear and considered feedback.
- Experience working in all phases of game development, from feature design and implementation to bugfixing.
- Unreal 4+ expertise with applicable knowledge and experience with Unreal
- Excellent skills in C++ programming and objectoriented architecture with the ability to code and architect game systems and tools
- Excellent Math Skills
- Ability to identify risks early and suggest and execute mitigation strategies
- Detailoriented planner
- Strong personal communication skills
- Experience/interest in full stack development, including UI/UX through backend
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain gameplay systems such as enemy combat, traversal, abilities, and other core gameplay systems
- Find your ideal balance of management, delegation, and actual implementation
- Coordinate with design lead and other project leadership to identify team needs, set team goals and feature specifications
- Be a positive and proactive team member in the gameplay development process with a keen eye for detail
- Contribute to the design and execution of complex gameplay systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Serve as an active participant in team discussions, critiques, and reviews
- Meet production schedules and deadlines
- Help build the engineering team, including interviewing and hiring engineers
- Mentor and develop engineering talent within the team
