We are based in Madrid and have the option of working at the studio and/or remotely.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and mentor a Narrative Design team on current generation platforms.
- Lead the ideation process to create storylines, characters, and narrative systems.
- Provide creative and constructive feedback to refine the game and improve game concepts.
- Identify narrative design specifications to ensure the high-quality execution of the final product.
- Collect storytelling tools to bring narrative and gameplay together.
- Write consistent documentation for systems and game mechanics.
- Evangelize, present, and communicate narrative design status of owned projects to the larger Tequila Works organization and Senior Management Team.

Qualifications / Skills:

- 8 years of experience working as a narrative designer in the video game industry and having shipped at least at least a AAA/AA title as a Narrative Director.
- Experience working with a pool of writers with a leadership role.
- Proficiency in English.
- Experience with Unreal Engine and Blueprints would be a plus.
- A working knowledge of narrative design toolsets and production pipelines.
- Ability to write creative stories.
- Extensive knowledge of narrative techniques and writing principles.
- Self-critical spirit and excellent communication and team-work skills.
