**A Snapshot of Your Day**

As Senior Plan Layout Engineer for HVDC systems every day is not the same in your multicultural team. You will be responsible with your colleagues for the development of the best-fit-solutions for our plant design of HVDC systems to make a significant contribution to the energy transition. **How You’ll Make an Impact**
- Design of HVDC plant layouts as a solution to individual project requirements
- Leading a project team of electromechanical, acoustic, seismic and CAD engineers from project start till the construction phase of the plant
- Responsible for the overall coordination of all involved teams (e.g. engineering disciplines, sales, project management, installation, suppliers) in the design process to ensure compliance with customer requirements, EHS and international standards
- Main contact person for the HVDC plant layout to our customers, internal and external partners and suppliers
- Ensuring the overall success of the project regarding time, costs and quality

**What You Bring**
- Completed university degree in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering Alternatively, you have a comparable education in a
- technical field with corresponding professional experience
- Long-term professional experience in international turnkey projects, ideally in the field of HVDC, FACTS or substations
- Advanced project management skills to ensure project timelines, costs and quality
- Leadership and communication skills as well as motivation, willingness to learn and passion for the job
- Fluent English skills, German (B1 level) is a plus
- Basic knowledge of CAD tools (e.g. AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, Siemens NX or similar) or willingness to learn them

**About the Team**

In our multicultural team, we are responsible for the entire design of HVDC and FACTS plant layouts. We form a central function in the design process and are continuously in discussion with all interface partners. In addition to the project business, we are heavily involved in the digitalization of our engineering processes and develop solutions to simplify and automate routine work. As part of the team, you are the driver of our Digital Readiness project, with which we want to make the vision of the Art of Engineering a reality.
