Strong understanding of Procurement Lifecycle, like Source to Contract, Procure to Pay, Asset Management and Supplier Performance Management

- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

GPE is part of the Global Procurement Organization (GPO). It is the single channel for Amazon globally that creates, delivers and maintains core procurement capabilities while executing best-in-class S2P policies, processes and digital solutions. The pillar drives efficiency, control & compliance and delivers a user and supplier centric procurement experience consistently across teams, businesses and regions. BI enables metric-driven capabilities for the Procurement leaders through secure, performant, scalable & sustainable reporting & analysis products. We make the data speak. Providing Amazon-standard customer experience is in our core. We build trust with leaders and provide analysis they need and we do that on a timely and top-quality manner.
Key job responsibilities
- Translate business requirements to BI products. Drive the creation of product strategy documents. Own the discussion with senior leadership. Own the discussions on dependencies with tech and non-tech stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain the BI Product development plan. Facilitate planning sessions. Develop change management plans for projects, change initiatives and deployment activities.
- Controlling the health of the BI product inventory (e.g. usage, adoption, NPS score) and audit new releases (ensure that meet the product launch standards like documentation, training videos, Integrated NPS survey). Owning the quarterly keep/deprecate session where we evaluate whether we keep or deprecate existing product features.
- Own the product socialization and adoption strategy through intensive interactions with customers (e.g. trainings, show & tell sessions, onboarding material).
- Own the product satisfaction strategy. Host survey events and understand key drivers of behavior. Control SIM traffic that can lead to customer dissatisfaction.
- Own BI product discussions. Consolidate of success stories/risks/KPIs and own MBR/QBR documents.
- Report ROI to senior leadership, labor avoidance and cost savings, $ vs. operating cost.
- Lead scouting activities (internal and external) to identify new capabilities and solutions across procurement business intelligence
A day in the life
A Senior Procurement Product Manager, Business Intelligence, identifies new and innovative ways of working that enhance procurement BI products and enable additional value for the procurement function. Translates functional requirements into product specifications. Improves the way that customers interact with data and analytics. Works cross functionally, interacting with other tech and non-tech teams globally to align on requirements and solutions. Develops and maintains strong networks and partnerships across, builds trusted relationships. Relies on data to track product performance and analyzes user feedbacks to improve products quality.

- Very good understanding of project management, with experience in a fast-paced environment, taking a product through its complete lifecycle and delivering highly scalable and robust solutions.
- Product Management Certification of a recognized institution.
