**The Mathematical and Computational Biology Group at the CRM** is looking for a **Research Technician** to join the project HENOCANDYN: Heterogeneity and Noise as engines of Cancer evolution: A multiscale Dynamical systems approach PID2021-127896OB-I00. This contract is envisaged to start on March 15th 2023 and will last until September 14th 2023.

**Applications will be accepted until 6 March 2023.**

**TASKS**
- Revise literature relevant to the project development.
- Design and development of the simulation models on tumor immunogenicity.
- Program the simulation codes, analyze the results, and collaborate in writing scientific reports/articles of the project.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, or similar
- Knowledge of cancer processes and especially in immunogenicity
- Knowledge of programming in C

**ASSESSABLE CONDITIONS**
- Experience in modeling cancer dynamics
- Fluency in English and communication skills
- Capacity to work as part of an interdisciplinary team

**CONTRACT DETAILS**
- Expected starting date: 15 March 2023
- Duration of the contract until September 15th 2023 (extendable to March 14th 2024)
- Salary as established by collective agreement.

**EVALUATION PROCESS AND CRITERIA**
- The selection process will be evaluated by the CRM Director, the CRM deputy director, and Dr. Josep Sardanyés as principal investigator of the Mathematical and Computational Biology Group group. This process consists in:

- **Shortlist**: assessment of the fulfillment of the minimum requirements of the offer.
- **Final decision**: If we find the right person, the resolution will be formally communicated and will be published in the CRM careers section.
