Commercialisation Manager Tequila CoE
Role Overview:
The Commercialisation Manager Tequila CoE will play a crucial role in driving the success of Diageo's Tequila category in Europe. This position will be responsible for creating the commercial toolkit to identify, categorize and establish the partnership models with the on-trade customers across Europe in partnership with local commercial teams with the objective of and commercialization playbook to train and support local customer marketing teams, lead ongoing tequila training and education for local sales teams and brand ambassadors, and coordinate all supply and commercialization requests across markets, including innovation rollouts. The primary focus will be on ensuring smooth operations and efficient processes to enhance the potential of the tequila brands within the European market.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop a comprehensive commercialization playbook that will serve as a guide for local customer marketing teams, ensuring a consistent and effective approach to launching and promoting the tequila brands across various markets.
- Train and support local customer marketing teams to successfully implement the commercialization playbook, providing guidance and assistance to optimize brand performance and sales.
- Lead ongoing tequila training and education programs for local sales teams and brand ambassadors, ensuring they are well-equipped to represent the brands and engage with customers effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless supply chain process, coordinating all supply and commercialization requests across markets to meet demand efficiently.
- Take ownership of the innovation rollout process, ensuring new product launches and promotions are driven flawlessly, capturing market opportunities, and driving sales growth.
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager Tequila CoE and the Head of Luxury Tequilas C&E Europe to align commercialization efforts with the overall strategy for the tequila category.
- Establish strong relationships with key collaborators, including local market teams, distributors, suppliers, and agencies, to ensure effective collaboration and execution of commercialization plans.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry standards to stay ahead of market dynamics and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in commercial roles in the spirits industry with solid expertise in the on-trade.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing commercialization strategies and processes.
- Experience in training and supporting sales teams and brand ambassadors to drive sales and brand awareness.
- Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics processes to ensure smooth operations and efficient execution of commercialization plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and collaborators.
- Analytical mentality with the ability to interpret market data and consumer insights to inform commercialization strategies.
- Knowledge of the spirits industry, specifically in the tequila category, is a plus.
